Irish Ambassador to Malta, Patrick Duffy visits Colaiste Bride Clondalkin As part of the Government’s Global Ireland programme,…
The School aims, in the spirit of Nano Nagle’s vision:
Coláiste Bríde has a rich history in Clondalkin. Founded by the Presentation Sisters in 1857, the school initially offered primary education to the local community. Recognising the evolving needs of the time, secondary education was introduced in 1955.
A significant milestone in the school’s history was the relocation to its current site on New Road, Clondalkin in 1969/1970. After several decades in this location, an ambitious four-year construction project saw Coláiste Bríde open a state-of-the-art building in May 2008.
This modern campus was carefully researched and designed to provide an ideal learning environment. Equipped with cutting-edge technology and resources, the building demonstrated Coláiste Bríde’s commitment to remaining at the forefront of learning innovation.
As Coláiste Bríde evolves, it remains dedicated to nurturing students’ personal, academic, and spiritual growth. The school fosters a caring, inclusive environment, empowering students with confidence, character, and purpose to become responsible global citizens.
