Mercy Ballymahon are All-Ireland Champions!

Congratulations to our 1st Year Boys Basketballers and our Senior Ladies GAA team who both took the All-Ireland title this year. Fantastic achievement congratulations to all involved!!!

Basketball

1st Year Boys Basketballers played our neighbours Marist College Athlone in the All-Ireland final. The end score was Ballymahon 44 – Marist 30. We are very proud of the team and coaches Ms.O’Sullivan, Mr.Tansey and Ms.Curley.

Football

It was third time lucky for our Senior Girls Football as they captured the Lidl All-Ireland Post-Primary Senior “C” title with a great win over St Mary’s High School, Midleton in the Bannagher GAA club grounds Co. Offaly. The final score was Mercy Ballymahon 4-13 to St. Mary’s Middleton 1-9. It’s the journey that makes the destination worthwhile. A performance of the highest quality from our girls we are all so proud of them and their mentors Mr. Seery, Ms.McCann and Mr. Bohan.
