Convent of Mercy Roscommon celebrated Poetry Day Ireland with a beautiful poem specially composed for today by our 6th year student Niamh Petrie. We also take time to remember the late Eavan Boland (RIP), leading Irish poet and champion of the female voice who passed away this week.
