Magic of the Musicals

On January 29/30/31st Cnoc Mhuire staged “Magic of the Musicals” in our school sports hall at 8pm. This show featured songs (solo and group), dances and musical pieces from the world of theatre. Some shows featured were grease/ Oliver/ Annie/ wizard of oz and the greatest showman. Our transition years worked hard to present some amazing group numbers whilst all music students from our school from 1st to 6th years got a chance to showcase their talents on a stage with lighting that had been designed especially to suit our venue. The ceili band performed a newly devised piece fusing the traditional styles with musicals.

This show was directed and produced by Petrina Mills and Megan Reilly assisted by Jamie Cunningham and Angela O Mahoney. This team was delighted to have had so many staff members involved who assisted on the nights with stage management, costumes, front of house, ticket sales , stage building ,publicity etc.,

Three fantastic nights with packed houses were had. Thanks to the local community for supporting our school once again.
