The Ethos Induction for Newly Appointed Teachers in CEIST Schools 2018 was held in the Killeshin Hotel & Leisure Club, Portlaoise yesterday. There was a great turnout of almost 100 teachers in attendance.

Dr Marie Griffin welcomed all new teachers. She began with a prayer and then told the story of how and why CEIST was formed, outlining the different congregations which CEIST schools belong to. An interactive workshop then followed which allowed all new teachers discuss the atmosphere of their school and their impression of the CEIST environment.

All other topic covered on the day focused on CEIST as a Trusteeship and the different supports which were available to all its schools.

It was great to see so many new teachers making the journey from all different parts of the country and it is wonderful to welcome them all to the CEIST family.
