Thursday 1st February 2024, (St. Brigid’s Day) is less than a months away and I would ask you to pencil the date into your diary as a reminder for our now annual celebration of all that is good about our schools.
The theme for this year’s celebration is :
‘Home, School and Parish – Working together.
Imagine a collaboration of photos and videos from celebratory events at all 106 CEIST schools on 1st. February highlighting the characteristic spirit of our schools. That’s what we are hoping to achieve this year and we need your help to showcase the strong connection between our schools and the local community.
Our CEIST Charter reminds us that;
‘Collaboration, Co-Operation and Partnership between home, school, community, parish and diocese are emphasised, encouraged and enabled’
Let’s sing and dance our success in ‘Creating Community’ and showcase this for
‘ Ceiliuradh Ceist 2024.’
We look forward to having you join us on St. Brigid’s Day to celebrate and highlight some of the many ways in which your school is ‘Creating Community’ and ‘Working Together’ with the community and parish.
Our team will be on the road to support you in your Ceiliúradh CEIST celebration and we hope to visit a number of schools on the day.
Let’s make this a day to remember.
