The 1st year students at Presentation College Athenry got a surprise recently when three members of the Galway Traffic Corp attended their assembly area on a Garda motorbike!

Sergeant Ronan Mahon and Garda Conor Ledwith and Garda Barry Burke visited the students to talk about road safety issues and the importance of using of ‘high viz’ clothing as the Winter mornings and evenings become dull.

All students in attendance were provided with a ‘high viz’ goodie pack which has a value but it is worthless if it is not used.
