Monday 10th September 2012
A lot of people were wondering whether it might have been a better idea to send the students back to school in July, to ensure that the sun might shine for a while.
True to tradition, as our eager young students returned to school, the sun found its place in the sky again and the rain stopped.
Everyone at Mercy Secondary School, Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath was delighted to see the sun, but even more delighted to see all our students back working so hard – particularly the ninety eight new First Years, who began a new adventure in their lives.
Thanks to all the parents for having all the students so well groomed and presented for their return to school and the best of luck to all for the school year 2012/2013.
