As a result of their efforts the Student Council were nominated for Wexford’s Outstanding Junior Achievement Award 2017 live on South East Radio while being interviewed about their ongoing work in relation to teenage mental health and wellbeing in Wexford.
At the South East Radio Outstanding Achievement Awards Gala Ball the Student Council won the overall Outstanding Junior Achievement Award. The picture above shows the council members who represented the school on the night.
They were overwhelmed to receive the award and were delighted their hard work was recognised but feel if their “I am WORTH it” booklet helps just one person it will all have been worth it!
They look forward to updating the booklet in the coming months!
