Green School

Congratulations to the Calasanctius College Green Schools committee who have received their 10th green flag for the Global Citizenship – travel theme.

The committee raised the flag on Tuesday, 28th May.

 

 

 

 

Sixth Year – Tree Planting 

On Thursday, 30th May the Leaving Certificate students  from Calasanctius College took part in their Traditional Tree Planting Ceremony.

This tree will stand tall alongside all of those planted over the years.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Transition Year Graduation

Transition Year students attended their graduation ceremony last Tuesday night. Student representatives, Anna Gohery, Hannah Melville and Laura Moloney; spoke on their respective experiences during the Transition year. Musicians and singers performed various pieces throughout the evening.

Congratulations to Laura Moloney and Shane Burke on being named Student of the Year and to all the recipients of the Spirit of Calasanctius Awards.

 

 

 

Sixth Year Graduation Mass

The class of 2024 celebrated their Graduation on 23rd May. The evening began with a mass in their local church, celebrated by Father Diarmuid. Students received their certificates on the night and the much awaited ‘Student of the Year’ was announced. Students and their families were invited back to the school for light refreshments. Congratulations to Rachel Guckian and Jimmy Mangan on being awarded ‘Student of the Year’. Thank you to Father Diarmuid, Ruth Broderick, the Religious Education Team and all who made the Graduation Night Possible. We would like to wish all the students the best of luck in their exams and their future path.
