Advent is a time of Hope and that is the theme of the first week of Advent 2021.  Since the arrival of the pandemic in March 2020 there is no doubt that we have been living through a very challenging and difficult time. Covid-19 has
impacted us all and the necessary restrictions on daily life have been hard.

We especially think of those working in the healthcare system who continue to to bear the brunt of the demands of the virus. As we learn to adapt and cope with emerging strains may we continue to express our gratitude to all those frontline staff working on our behalf and may we continue to be people of hope and in the lead up to Christmas celebrate in unison the spirit of Hope that was never more needed.
